"Some interesting developments could see some additional Valluga entries very soon - watch this space."- Benji Hetherington

The Valluga team was back on track this weekend at Brands Hatch for rounds 3 and 4 of the Porsche Carrera Cup. Friday's practice sessions proved difficult for the team with understeer issues and Adam going off the track causing some last-minute setup changes before Saturday's qualifying session.

Despite having struggled in testing it was time for qualifying. Lewis had a track time deleted due to exceeding track limits but finished 6th in class overall. Adam pushed through to qualify 3rd in class giving the team a fighting chance for race 1 the following day.

Race day was in full swing on Sunday with two races to play for. The weather conditions played a huge role in the driver's strategies and in particular Race 1 causing a damp track. Due to the track conditions, they altered the setup for Adam's car but the weather cleared and dried up very quickly causing Adam to finish 4th in class. Lewis also finished 4th in class for race 1 making it a respectable finish across the board.

Race 2 saw Adam hold his position gaining another 4th in class finish. Lewis had a great start getting off the line after starting on the second row of the grid but unfortunately came off the track and rejoined at P10 but finished overall 5th in class after making a great recovery.

We spoke to team manager Benji Hetherington about his thoughts on the weekend, "In the moment it seems like another frustrating weekend - similar to Snetterton. But step back and assess the details and we've had a better weekend in terms of overall pace. The team - in particular, our engineer Simon has left no stone unturned over the Brands weekend and that's helped move the car forward again. Some late-night oil burnt by the technicians all culminated in a great team effort.

Although both cars didn't get the results we expected we go back to work in this short break to arrive at Oulton ready to earn the results we know we are capable of.

Some interesting developments could see some additional Valluga entries very soon - watch this space."
