Porsche Carrera Cup Rounds 11-12 Report

We were out racing at our home track Silverstone for rounds 11 and 12 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

​Friday like always was a day of free practice giving Valluga newcomers Ross and Lucky time to get a feel of the cars they would later that week be racing with.

The first free practice session was fierce in both Pro and Am categories and Lucky didn't hold back finishing the first session of the morning closely behind the front runner in the Am category just 0.096 seconds behind.

​Ross finished the Friday P9 and P5, Lewis P7 and P2 and Lucky P2 and P1 making it a successful first day out on track.

Saturdays qualifying session was in dry conditions and the fight was on to set the grid for the following day.

Qualifying left Lewis finishing P8, Ross P7 and Lucky P4 in the Am category.

The grid was set for the first race of Sunday and not too shortly after the lights went out Lewis was involved in...

an incident taking Lewis off the track and resulting in a DNF result for the team.

​Lucky and Ross continued throughout the race with Ross finishing P7 and Lucky receiving a podium finish in P2.

Later that day the sun was shining down on Silverstone Circuit ready for race 2.

​All 3 cars were ready to get back out after getting Lewis' car back into shape and ready to go.

Lewis, Ross and Lucky all had a clean start with no altercations giving Lewis the time needed to start climbing back up the grid from his P14 starting position.

Lewis made his way up through the grid throughout the race and finished P8. Lucky was running well with a competitive Am race but due to making contact with another driver left him with a DNF result.

Ross improved on his P7 starting position and race 1 result finishing in P6 making it a consistent weekend for him.

We spoke to Ross regarding his first weekend with Valluga Concierge, "A great first weekend back in Porsche Carrera Cup GB and a great weekend with Valluga.

2 solid results with a 7th in qualifying, 7th in race 1 and 6th in race 2.
